Kinda last minute blog but in bed, hours before I leave for two weeks to go to the amazon rainforest and immerse as a life of a villager.
Just telling you about my weeks here has been Kinda weird. these last few days.. There's this idol worshipping that goes on in Belem Brazil. And we live exactly on the street where they trek through worshipping this doll. And it's not just a little thing. This is millions of ppl. Biggest idol worshipping in the world and its this goes one week out of the year and it so happens that's when we're here! He would go out with water, food, tracks, and the love of Jesus. We would just love on them and share the good news. Brazil is so ready for Jesus. We would talk hours on the streets just hanging and sharing and letting God do the rest...
And this brings me to what I learned here. I would ask and ask God why did you place us here.? Out of all the weeks and out of all of brazil. why did we end up living on the street that they walk through.
God just want us to be obedient and fully give all of us at the place where we are placed.and even when its difficult to see the good, especially in a place where the MAJORITY of the ppl are worshipping this doll just remember that Gods in control. I was reminded that there are seed planters. And there is times were it doesn't look pretty. It doesn't look like we are doing anything here. But God told me this week I placed you here in the middle of this junk to plant seed in ppl hearts. And that exactly what we did. Heavy revy when we realize its our job to be obedient to step out boldly wherever he placed us. That's it. God does the rest and he shows up and blows up the place! Like he always does.Well during this last week we served the ppl like I mentioned. Not only with food water but also with medical checkups. Had some amazing talks with ppl and sooo many ppl interested. Asking questions, getting our phone numbers to meet up, asking us to speak at there university more on missions. Ect. God is faithful. Can't wait to be apart of the work that God is doing in the village communities. Thanks for reading. Love my supporters and ill be out for two weeks but back blowing y'all up with amazing things.
